THE ZOMBIE MENACE CONTINUES!

GEORGE A. ROMERO'S CULT CLASSIC
DAY OF THE DEAD
WILL SOON CELEBRATE ITS 25TH ANNIVERSARY
AND

CAPT. RHODES aka actor JOE PILATO
IS BACK IN THE TRENCHES AGAIN!

Los Angeles, CA. (09/09/08) -- You can't keep a good soldier down and the reports of Capt. Rhodes demise have been greatly exaggerated. When last seen, in the George A. Romero cult classic Day Of The Dead, Capt. Rhodes (aka actor Joe Pilato) appeared to have been dismembered by the Zombie scum and was heard bellowing out those immortal words which have echoed through the annals of cult movie history: "Choke on 'em!" Now, almost 25 years later, the menace continues to proliferate and that makes the "hero of the Day" fighting mad!

Capt. Rhodes may be nothing more than a mere morsel in the mouths of the undead, but Pilato is everywhere these days, with dozens of fansites splashed across the World Wide Web. Upcoming skirmishes for the actor include Dead, written and directed by Zeb DeSoto for Simon West Productions (the folks who brought us the Laura Croft movies and Black Hawk Down). Also before the camera is Sons Of God, penned and directed by Corey Touringy of the Massachusetts Brigade.

Not one to rest on his laurels and let others tell the tale, however, Capt. Rhodes wants to have his say. To that end, Pilato is busy channeling him and working diligently on the military maverick's recently declassified war journal, outlining his tour of duty in the genre and thoughts on the remake of General George A. Romero's Dawn Of The Dead and Day Of The Dead. In addition, he's busy recruiting maggots for the cause with an all-new line bearing his official sigel.
