LOMA LYNDA
Film is an integral part of the Loma Lynda Experience. Their set list is an intertwining collage of imagery and musical soundscapes. Taking place in the 1960s and 70s, the story line for Loma Lynda Episode II is largely interpretive.
Certain elements can be implied, but the band's Intention is to show the story of two girls terrorized by a killer on the loose over two decades through brief disconnected clips highlighting moments in time. There are elements of birth and death, abduction and paranoia, sex and marriage, consumerism and religion. With sparse running dialogue / subtitles, the story vaguely unfolds, providing visual stimulation evocative of the musical score. The set ends with the interrogation of the kidnapper, and a montage of visual flashes from the course of the film.
