LIGHTS! CAMERA! CHAOS!

CYMBELINE SMITH AND KRISTA BEHI ARE
LOSERS IN L.A.

HOLLYWOOD WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.

Los Angeles, CA. (12/07/03) -- What happens when you combine real celebrities, biting Brit wit and more fashionable faux pas than Absolutely Fabulous, all on one stage? Losers In L.A., featuring two wacky socialites from across the pond creating havoc in Hollywood, while taping a live studio edition of their up-to-the-minute entertainment news show. And an opportunity for viewers to be a part of the "studio" audience, while the reality talk show format is gloriously skewered and glamorous Tinsel Town history is ceremoniously unmade.

Deftly created by comedic actresses Cymbeline Smith and Krista Behi, Losers In L.A. takes you behind the scenes of an imaginary entertainment news program, hosted by starstruck dreamer Crystal (Smith) and jaded dyslexic Kaitlin (Lucas), two glamorous professionals with barely a clue between them. Presented as a stage production, this unique "episode" of a proposed television series will take audience members on a rollercoaster ride of hilarity, as Crystal and Kaitlin work their cheeky magic on such celebrity guests as Anthony Azizi (24, Threat Matrix), Kurt Caceras (Threat Matrix, All My Children) and Ross the Intern from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Guests will be interviewed on alternate nights, all but guaranteeing a different show each time, while showcasing the spontaneous and off-the-page talents of the hosts and introducing such off-beat supporting characters as disgruntled Steve the floor manager (Steve Siegel), film buff Brian the cameraman (Brian Thomas Barnhardt), sweet Stephanie the make-up artist (Shannon Hillary) and power-wielding BBC Producer, Mr. Goldstein (Nick Tate).

Cymbeline Smith is originally from England and has a professional acting career of stage and screen on both sides of the Atlantic. Krista Lucas has a life-long career on both sides of the camera in Wales, New York City and L.A. Together the duo has been touring Europe, choreographing, producing and writing together for 15 years, including a full-length stage play which has since been adapted to the screen. Now based in L.A., their creative process has been fuelled by their own personal experiences, not to mention embarrassing behavior, at entertainment industry events. They both strongly believe in the extreme amount of comedic value which is to be found in their adopted home of L.A. Losers In L.A. is the result of that faith.

Losers In L.A. will run January 23 - February 15, 2004 at the Hudson Backstage Theatre, 6539 Santa Monica Blvd, Hollywood. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights, 7 p.m. Sunday nights. A Gala Premiere after party/auction will be held opening night, January 23, at Bacio, in the Hudson Backstage lobby.
